 Day 98

I have to laugh, after several days of torrential rains, we finally got the gutters and downspouts put on the house (well, not completely yet, but should finish tomorrow). 




They actually construct the gutters on site.  This is the "gutter making machine."  Pretty interesting.

It's been a while

 We had our first delay in building, which certainly isn't surprising.  Fortunately, we at least knew why - our framer was out of town.  But now they've started!      This was just the first load of wood.  And now the framing has begun!!!  Our builder told us we could anticipate a completed home 7 months from the start of framing - so he's now on the clock.  This is DAY 1.    I wonder how close we will be in mid-December.
