It's been a while

 We had our first delay in building, which certainly isn't surprising.  Fortunately, we at least knew why - our framer was out of town.  But now they've started!

    

This was just the first load of wood. 

And now the framing has begun!!!  Our builder told us we could anticipate a completed home 7 months from the start of framing - so he's now on the clock.  This is DAY 1. 

  I wonder how close we will be in mid-December.
