DAY 13. It's been a busy past few days. So much wood! And putting together the roof was a massive job. Took a massive crane. But the results are pretty amazing!

Day 7 Check out the view at our front door looking out of the great room. And from our bedroom. And of course, Roy is always measuring.
We have 2 garage walls now.
DAY 5 On April 23, I announced, "We've got a garage floor." Well, now I can announce, today we've got 2 garage walls. We also have all the floor put in. And we also met a new neighbor, who seemed quite content to hang around during all the construction.
It's been a while
We had our first delay in building, which certainly isn't surprising. Fortunately, we at least knew why - our framer was out of town. But now they've started! This was just the first load of wood. And now the framing has begun!!! Our builder told us we could anticipate a completed home 7 months from the start of framing - so he's now on the clock. This is DAY 1. I wonder how close we will be in mid-December.
