It's been a while

 We had our first delay in building, which certainly isn't surprising.  Fortunately, we at least knew why - our framer was out of town.  But now they've started!      This was just the first load of wood.  And now the framing has begun!!!  Our builder told us we could anticipate a completed home 7 months from the start of framing - so he's now on the clock.  This is DAY 1.    I wonder how close we will be in mid-December.

A Retrospective

 Happy New Year!  I expect to end this blog adventure pretty soon.  Once they complete our landscaping, I'll take a few pictures and then say "good bye".  So, before then, here's a fun little retrospective of our home build We have some preliminary drawings from our architect that were drawn up in the Spring of 2023. SOLD!

  Bye bye, 360.  We had a great run, but when people ask me if selling it was "bittersweet" I can honestly answer, No.  Glad we've got buyers who really wanted it, and we love our new home.                                                                   Out with the old.                                                                     In with the new.
