It's been a while

 We had our first delay in building, which certainly isn't surprising.  Fortunately, we at least knew why - our framer was out of town.  But now they've started!      This was just the first load of wood.  And now the framing has begun!!!  Our builder told us we could anticipate a completed home 7 months from the start of framing - so he's now on the clock.  This is DAY 1.    I wonder how close we will be in mid-December.

  Bye bye, 360.  We had a great run, but when people ask me if selling it was "bittersweet" I can honestly answer, No.  Glad we've got buyers who really wanted it, and we love our new home.                                                                   Out with the old.                                                                     In with the new.

"......that's all folks!"

 I've been putting it off, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was the cold weather - but the time has come to close out this blog. House isn't completely finished, but the biggest stuff is done, and with the front walkway finally landscaped, thought I'd end this journey. In case you can't make it out, arrow reads "Welcome. Front Door".  We've had people get confused as to where to enter. :) I've been waiting for the front patio to be finished.  Now I'll wait for the weather to warm.
