Long time no update

Day 78  Please be reassured that work continues on the house (I know you were all very worried!); it just has not been very pictureable (is that a word?) The stucco outside has hit a bit of a snag.  We're getting a new vendor to finish the job.  Fortunately, not a time problem.  In fact, they can't really finish the job until the forecast calls for no rain for a few days - which in summer here is a bit of a challenge.                                  But, inside the walls are now all up, textured and sanded.  We meet with the trim guy for all the interior woodwork next week, and then, I expect, they'll actually start painting the walls. Needs a little color, don't you think?  This is a nice view from our soon to be neighbor's house.

I've been a way for a while.

Finishing the innards of the wall prior to the insulation.  Then delivering and putting up the sheetrock.                                             Looking more and more like a real home each day!               Speaking of homes, our current one is in complete disarray as we prepare to stage and sell.                                          But the mess doesn't really compare to what's going on next door! Speaking of doors, though, we finally have ours in place and revealed. And in case you were wondering where I was, that's me with my grandson at the first swim up bar at sea, on the ICON on the Seas (Royal Caribbean).           We stayed in a room off of Central Park (pictured below) which has over 33,500 living plants! My grandson has gotten quite proficient on the Flowrider - their signature water feature  (
